GENERAL SUMMARY
Clean, sanitize and replenish totes for production and warehousing use
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Clean and sanitize (involves scrubbing, mopping and washing/pressure washing) totes in accordance with all safety practices and standard operating procedures
•Visually inspect totes for cleanliness after cleaning
•Be able to handle various cleaning materials
•Follow food safety standards and procedures in accordance with USDA, FDA, and HACCP
•Inform supervisors of barriers to effective performance
•Visually inspect totes for damage and transport to appropriate location in the warehouse if no longer usable
•Maintain a safe work environment using good housekeeping practices. Keeping work area free from clutter, trip hazards, slip hazards, etc.
•Keep work areas clean at all times
•Other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb or balance. In addition, some facilities are multi-level and may require ascending or descending stairs.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Physically able to work in a wet environment.
The employee must frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Able to communicate and take direction from the QA Supervisor.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Multi-shift production operations may be expansive, noisy, wet/humid and vary in temperature from refrigerated environment, ambient or warm in summer months depending on facility.
