Machine Operator I- 1st and 2nd Shift

Job Summary:

The Machine Operator performs set-ups, makes minor adjustments and operates packaging equipment. Identifies acceptable or unacceptable product quality per customer requirements. Performs wash and changeover of equipment. Machine Operators will need to be reliable and able to work with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) at all times.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs accurate set ups on equipment in preparation for particular product runs.

• Operates equipment and adjusts as necessary to ensure equipment is operating correctly and meeting quality specifications.

• Inspects and tests packages, and documents results to ensure equipment is operating correctly and meeting quality specifications.

• Stages and checks required materials for quick and accurate change overs in production.

• Completes and assembles all required documentation associated with the position.

• Maintains works area in a clean and organized manner.

• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

• Must be 18 years of age.

• Must be knowledgeable in GMPs and the HACCP program or willing to learn.

• Sufficient math skills to calculate quantities of material required for orders being run.

• Good organizational and communication skills in order to prioritize work and communicate changes to line workers.

• Must have the ability to handle small tools.

• Must have the ability to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversees pre-op and/or tear down depending on shift. Coordinate lines set-up.
• Reviews production issues, production schedule orders and product specifications. Works with other departments to prevent downtime.
• Leads continuous improvement plant wide.

Accounts Receivable Specialist

ROLE OVERVIEW

Responsible for Shared Services Accounts Receivable Cash Application/Invoicing, along with other General Accounting/GL functions as needed.

Job Duties:

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Process all Customer invoicing on Daily Billing Due List within SAP

• Review all invoices for reasonableness. Follow up with Customer Service/Plant Accounting on negative margin invoices to verify pricing/costing accuracy

• Review all related accounting documents for accuracy ensuring that all Customer Invoices are released to accounting. Follow up as necessary to identify system fixes required to release invoices where errors are preventing invoice release.

• Review related COPA postings generated at the time of Invoice creation, verifying that all COGS, Revenues and Volumes post properly within SAP

• Reconcile issues found on invoices related to customer PO’s and/or prices.

• Process all Customer adjustments/credit memos relating to pricing, quantity, quality discrepancies as agreed and approved by HFS Management

• Process and Post Approved Special Billing Items. Generate invoice to Customer.

• Coordinate the Month End closing process as it relates Accounts Receivable ensuring that all Goods Issues are posted, and to the proper accounting period, and that all deliveries/returns, credit memos are processed for the accounting close. Utilize SAP reports to ensure that these processes have been completed. Communicate with Inventory Control, Plant Personnel, Customer Service, etc as required

• Process daily cash receipts to Customer Accounts. Reconcile differences between payment amounts and invoice amounts. Follow up with Customers as necessary to reach resolution. Follow up on all Unapplied Cash in a timely manner.

• Perform AR Clearing to ensure that all paid, cleared AR is moved to History

• Communicate with HFS Credit Control and Sales team as necessary to facilitate the resolution of AR Issues/Aged Items.

• Responsible for preparing all AR related Account Reconciliations

• Maintain AR Master Records within SAP FI in accordance with HFS Credit Policy. Make changes to Customer Master Records (AP contacts, addresses, credit limits) as supported by Approved Documentation.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Competencies & Knowledge:

Knowledge of:

• Knowledge of financial processes and reports.

• Knowledge of general accounting fundamentals and financial analysis concepts.

Skill in:

• Understanding of GL Accounting and AR/Cash cycle

• Solid understanding of debits and credits, accounting balancing and reconciliation procedures

Ability to:

• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

• Investigative mentality and the ability to track prior payments and deductions through the receivables system

Job Summary:

The Quality Tech is responsible for ensuring that all elements of food safety within the Quality Monitoring Scheme are being met. Ensures that all regulatory, customer, and company quality initiatives are being met and maintained.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform Quality checks on production lines in a timely and accurate fashion every hour per line. (Will frequently be responsible for 5 lines at any given time).

• Brings discrepancies with the QMS to the attention of Supervisor or Quality Manager. These discrepancies are but not limited to HACCP programs, Allergen programs, Sanitation procedures, GMP findings, Foreign Material findings, and HOLD procedures.

• Ensure that product being produced meets all legal and customer requirements as outlined in the Set Up Sheet for each product.

• Complete paperwork in a timely and accurate fashion each day.

• Perform required tasks to maintain 5-S and keep work areas clean.

• Keep all information pertaining to our operations (products, customers, production details, etc.) confidential.

• Maintain instrumentation and equipment in good condition and store appropriately.

• Label, store, and organize samples and product retentions.

• Follow Hold Procedures for all non-conforming materials or product.

• Perform HACCP and Preventive Controls checks/tasks as needed.

• Assist in test runs and new product trials as needed.

• Perform other audits or inspections as required.

• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.

Minimal Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Post High School education preferred

• Required – 3 months of as a Quality Assurance Technician.

• Preferred – 1 years of experience as a QA Technician or other Technical department.

• Must have good attention to detail and be able to spot defects on fast-moving production lines.

• Must be able to gain a basic understanding of how different machinery operates as it relates to the quality of the product and adjustments that need to be made to correct certain conditions.

• Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to speak, write, and comprehend Spanish is a plus.

• Must be able to perform simple mathematic calculation, including working with fractions, ratios and percentages.

• Must be able to maintain good interpersonal communications and work collaboratively with co-workers, employees from other departments, and superiors.

• Experience with MS Office Suite is needed.

Job Summary:

The Material Handler is responsible for storing, moving, and handling products and materials. Material Handlers work in a structured work environment to minimize safety risks. Material Handlers will need to be reliable and able to work with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) at all times.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identifies, transports, packs, removes and disposes of products and materials.

• Operates standup forklifts, handcarts, or pallet jacks to pick, replenish, shuttle, and load/unload orders.

• Maintain inventory levels as directed.

• Feed lines with product as scheduled or directed by supervision or line leads.

• Ship and receive materials throughout duration of shift.

• Operate all equipment in a safe manner.

• Count, weigh, record numbers of units or materials moved or handled.

• Ensure that product moved is identified and labeled correctly.

• Perform required housekeeping to maintain 5S and keep work areas clean, such as sweeping floors, putting trash into containers, and picking stray product up from the floor.

• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Must be knowledgeable in GMPs or the willingness to learn.

• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 90 days.

• Ability to operate stand-up and extended forklifts.

• Sufficient math skills.

• Must have the ability to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.

• Ability to read and write in English preferred.
